Written to be read, not to be skipped. The short version: you do not need an account, we are not tracking you around the internet, and nothing here is advice about your own case.

Privacy

You do not need an account

Reading guides, comparing services and searching the site all work without signing up. There is no public sign-up on this site at all. The only logins that exist belong to the small team that edits the content.

If you fill in the partnerships form

The form on the advertisers page asks for your name, email, company, website and what you want to talk about. We store that so we can read it and reply to you. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

If you email us

We keep the message so we can answer it and, where it is a correction, so we have a record of what changed and when.

Searches

What you type into the search box is used to find results for you in that moment. It is not attached to your name or to a profile of you.

Cookies

We do not run advertising cookies and we do not use them to follow you across other websites. Anything stored in your browser by this site is there to make the site work.

Links to other companies

When you click through to a provider or a publisher you are on their website, under their privacy policy, not ours. Worth a look before you hand over anything personal, especially on anything involving your children or your finances.

Getting your details removed

Email contact@twohomesguide.com and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. If you would rather we never held it in the first place, do not use the partnerships form and email us instead.

Terms of use

What this site is for

Personal use, by parents and the people helping them. You are welcome to link to us and to quote a line or two with credit. Please do not scrape the site, republish our guides and reviews as your own, or resell them.

Prices and features change

We show the date a price was last checked. Companies change plans, add fees and drop features without telling us, so treat everything here as a starting point and confirm the current details with the provider before you pay.

Our ratings are opinions

A rating or an editor's choice is our judgement, based on what we could check. It is not a guarantee that a service is right for your family, and it is not a promise about how they will treat you.

Not legal, financial or clinical advice

Nothing on this site is advice about your situation, and reading it does not make anyone here your lawyer, mediator, financial adviser or therapist. Family law and child support rules differ by state and change over time. Get advice from someone qualified where you live before making decisions about custody, money or filing.

The services we list are not ours

We do not run any of the apps, firms, mediators or directories on this site. If you sign up with one of them, your contract, your payment and any dispute is with them. We are also not responsible for what other websites publish once you leave here.

Who owns what

Our guides, comparisons, reviews and the Two Homes Guide name and logo are ours. Company names, logos and product names belong to their owners and appear here for identification.

If things change

We may update this page as the site changes. Continuing to use the site means the current version applies.
